Mister S

The infamous Bo Ssam may not make an appearance, but there is still plenty to love about the take home menu from Mister S. Notably the burnt end rending spring rolls, the grilled halibut with mojo rojo and the smoked short rib chimichurri. Then, of course, there are the fried potatoes. You NEED the fried potatoes. Everyone does. www.misters.ie

Wuff

On Dublin’s Benburb Street, Wuff was one of the first restaurants in Dublin to offer a midweek brunch menu so it’s no surprise that their click and collect option includes both breakfast and brunch. All the usual suspects are featured on the menu but whatever happens, do not click ‘checkout’ until you have added their Caesar fries to your cart. You have been warned. www.wuff.clickandcollection.com

Featherblade

You may not be able to order a classic steak, but the steak sandwich from Featherblade is in itself worth making the journey to collect. If that doesn’t appeal, the crab and prawn brioche roll will surely elevate a gloomy January evening and the truffle mac ‘n’ cheese is also a must. www.featherblade.clickandcollection.com

Mulberry Garden

Fuss free fine dining at home? Donnybrook’s Mulberry Garden should be your first port of call if you happen to be in the locale. January’s menu for two includes treacle bread with butter followed by a terrine of foie gras and chicken, venison with parsnip puree and a chocolate cremeux to finish. The menu is €65 for two which seems like great value for cooking of this standard. www.mulberrygarden.clickandcollection.com
