Created by co-founders of Gloss Publications Limited, Jane and Sarah McDonnell, THE GLOSS magazine launched in 2006 as a luxury newsstand title with a focus on fashion, beauty and interiors. In 2009, the magazine evolved to a super-glossy large format magazine, published monthly with The Irish Times. From the outset, THE GLOSS differentiated itself from other magazines, rejecting their generic look and feel by combining fresh contemporary design and distinctive editorial content aimed at the Irish market but with an international outlook. An original mix of fashion, interiors, and lifestyle, interesting features, latest trends news in food, wine, travel and culture, it attracts a discerning reader who appreciates good writing and design, and seeks out the best things in life. THE GLOSS INTERIORS, in the same super-glossy large format, launched in 2012. In 2020, newsstand editions of both
THE GLOSS and THE GLOSS INTERIORS were launched.
