Molly Molloy and Lucinda Chambers’ fashion label Colville (they are former design director at Marni and ex-fashion director at Vogue, respectively) is the antithesis of fast fashion and transient trends. They showed their latest collection of bright, beautiful dresses, jackets and skirts, including this divine pistachio number, in a light-filled gallery. This month, take a step back (as you would to appraise a painting) from trends: creating a personal style is about carefully discovering the clothes and accessories that will become your signature. Start with “your” colour, and build a good collection slowly, adding a piece or two every year.
