Dingle Distillery at The Wicklow Escape, A Celebration of Bealtaine
Get your skates on if you fancy a visit to The Wicklow Escape on Tuesday May 2, (May 1 is sold out) where The Dingle Distillery are celebrating Celtic heritage with an evening of fire, fables and feasting. The event promises to be an immersive experience filled with wood-fired whiskey cocktails, food, music and culture to celebrate Bealtaine, the Celtic celebration heralding the beginning of summer. It will also be an opportunity to try the latest release of the Wheel of the Year series, Dingle Bealtaine Single Pot Still, all in the wonderful surrounds of The Wicklow Escape. Dillinger’s Supper Club, Ranelagh
On Thursday May 4, Dillinger’s in Ranelagh is pivoting to host a 777 Mexican-themed supper club. The inaugural evening kicks off with a mezcal spritz or an aperitivo on arrival, followed by a 777 Mexican food feast prepared by 777 Chefs and served family style. There will also be happy hour pricing on all cocktails for the evening, which undoubtedly will be much appreciated in the current climate. THE GLOSS Wine Dinner series at The Merrion Hotel continues on May 17 with an evening dedicated to summer food and wine, perfect for balmy days and longer evenings. Wine editor, Julie Dupouy will guide diners through a celebration of summer wines from Liberty Wines while Executive Chef Ed Cooney and his creative team at The Garden Room at The Merrion have devised a seasonal menu to complement the summery wines.
