Roe & Co x Bech-Bailey, Dublin 8

There are limited tickets left for the Roe & Co x Bech-Bailey tasting experience from April 11-14 at the Roe & Co Distillery in Dublin 8. The evening aims to immerse guests in the rich history of Irish cuisine, while also honouring the rich culture at Roe & Co. Guests will be enjoy a seven-course tasting experience created by chef Jordan Bech-Bailey expertly paired with Roe & Co cocktails, with a no/low alcohol option available. This evening lasts approximately 2.5 hours and will include a tour of the distillery and its grounds. Tickets are priced at €120 per person. www.roeandcowhiskey.com

Vin ‘n’ Vinyl at Savoir Fare, Westport

Saturday April 13 sees the return of Vin ‘n’ Vinyl at the lovely Savoir Fare in Westport. Anyone who has ever been knows that a return visit is always a good idea. The food is uncomplicated in the extreme and delicious to a fault, plus, the opportunity to visit in the evening feels like a special gift that only comes along once in a blue moon as it’s usually only open during the day. There are two sittings on the night, 7.30pm and 9.30pm and there will be vin and vinyl, plus tasty treats, bongo jazz and beatnik boogaloo courtesy of Mr Whippy Sound System. A Special Wine Dinner at The Cove Restaurant at Fota Island Resort, Cork

On Wednesday April 17, The Cove Restaurant at Fota Island Resort will welcome guests for an intimate wine dinner celebrating the wines of Château Queyron Pindefleurs from Saint-Émilion in Bordeaux. The evening will commence with canapés and champagne at 7pm, with guests sitting down for dinner at 7:30pm. Chantal and Peter Watts, the brains behind these exceptional wines, will guide you through a seven-course tasting menu, expertly paired with their Grand Cru selections. A Slovenian Winemakers Dinner at No. 1 Pery Square, Limerick

Saturday April 27 is a date for your diary if an evening of excellent wine and a specially curated five-course tasting menu inspired by local foods appeals. Those in the know will be familiar with No. 1 Pery Square, a boutique hotel in Limerick with all the charm of a country house in a city location. The evening will begin with aperitifs on arrival, followed by a five-course pairing menu led by Sinead and Liam Cabot, who will be on hand to discuss wine trends, while also demystifying natural, bio dynamic and organic wines. GIY Supper Club with JB Dubois and Peter Everett at GIY HQ, Waterford

Sunday April 28 sees Grow HQ head chef JB Dubois team up with Peter Everett from Everett’s Restaurant in Waterford for a one off ‘home grown’ supper club at the GIY HQ. GIY (grow it yourself) is a non-profit social enterprise working in Ireland, UK and USA from its Waterford base. The mission at GIY is to educate and facilitate a worldwide movement of food growers whose combined actions will help to establish a more sustainable food system. The two dynamo chefs will produce an exclusive three-course meal experience utilising locally grown produce with creativity and skill. Tickets are priced from €65. www.giy.ie
