What To Wear In The Changeable Spring Weather

It’s neither winter nor spring, so what on earth should we wear?

An ultra-cosy statement scarf, an intrecciato bag, more than one chunky, eye-grabbing gold ring; Pernille Teisbaek shows us that bad weather shouldn’t equate to bad accessorising.

We’re not saying a knitted hood or foulard, is the only option for leaving the house, but it definitely feels suited to, and warm for, the moody, inclement weather. Add a cheerful pop of colour – the addition of red socks and loafers, as seen on Lucy Williams, sparks joy.

A hooded trench coat, or rain jacket is invaluable right now. Layer it on top of a lightweight jacket such as a quilted style. At least, when you derobe you’ll have a hint of spring underneath!

Right now we’re looking at layers: a trench coat paired with a trusty lightweight knit and a bucket hat, for good measure. Style influencer Laura Vidrequin Roso shows just how cool the right hat can be.

If you’re still sporting cold weather staples such as a double-breasted coat, knitwear and jeans, fear not … we are too. A flash of colour via your trainers is a fail-safe way to inject happiness into your looks. (Plus, shop our edit of upgraded wardrobe staples here.)
