WHO: Hunter Treacy Tailors is an Irish business focused on sustainable tailoring for men and women, including made to measure for weddings – and shoes for men.

YOUR STYLE? A button-down shirt, jeans or chinos, suede loafers, and a deconstructed blazer in wool, linen or cotton, or a chore coat. When meeting clients, always a suit. My fit is tailored but comfortable, with softer shoulders than usual, natural drape in the jacket and higher-than-usual-waisted pants with a turnedup cuff. Off duty, I swap a good T-shirt for my shirt and New Balance trainers for my loafers.

DENIM TIP? M&S. Being short, finding jeans that fit off the peg is difficult. M&S do shorter leg options, their fit is consistent and not overly slim; good value too.

INVESTMENT PIECES? Everything in my wardrobe is pretty much made to measure. I view all tailoring as an investment.

WHERE DO YOU SHOP? My own tailoring aside, almost completely online.

IS YOUR STYLE EVOLVING? Constantly. I’m not in my 20s anymore: I dress in clothes I’m comfortable in and that work with my shape – they have to work hard! ACCESSORIES? A good watch, and Gucci glasses and sunglasses.

ON YOUR WISHLIST? Gold Rolex 1803 Day-Date with President bracelet. I’m not sure what that says about me!

GROOMING? Modern Botany Multi-Tasking Oil and Pomp & Co Face Serum. I cut my own hair.

GYM TIME? Once upon a time, I was aiming for the Olympics: I have kept to a strict weightlifting regime since, and run a few times a week.

FAVOURITE TREAT? A glass of good wine and a bowl of pasta at Nanetti’s on Dawson Street, Dublin 2.

BOOKS OR NETFLIX? Books. A good book can literally change your life.

18ct gold Day-Date 36 with President bracelet, Rolex, at Keanes, 93-95 Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork.

Grey MiUSA 993 suede, mesh and leather sneakers, €240; www.newbalance.ie.
