A pretty white crochet dress: there’s nothing more summer-like, if you ask us. Accessorise with barely-there make-up and beachy hair.

Add interest to a summer dress with a black hairband. It’s an easy – and cost effective way – to elevate your outfit.

Take inspiration from holiday prints. Pair a printed top with clashing patterns and lots of different textures, from a woven bag to mesh ballet flats.

Speaking of woven bags, cult brand Dragon Diffusion (pictured) and its Santa Croce bag has been named one of the most popular buys of the year so far with searches for the brand up 197 per cent in the second quarter of 2024. Considering investing? Now is the time as the woven leather tote is set to be a future classic.

Never underestimate the appeal of a black cotton-poplin shirt in summer. We especially love it when paired with simple white jeans.

Wedges have made a firm comeback in the style zeitgeist (see the Chloé AW24 show for further inspiration). We love how the classic bohemaian shoes nod to Left Bank glamour, however it’s interesting to see them styled in a more low-key way. Think: cropped jeans and a Western-inspired shirt.

Leopard print mesh shoes? Don’t mind if we do. The classic print is set to be big on the agenda for AW24. And a pair of ballet flats is the perfect way to tap into the trend.

Accentuate summer jewellery by letting it take centre stage in your outfit. A plain white tank top and relaxed jeans are the perfect backdrop to layered gold bracelets and stacked diamond rings.

A mannish fit blazer and a white skirt are an almost classic pairing in 2024. We’ve seen multiple iterations of this look and it never fails to look crisp – or ultra elegant.

Is there anything more romantic than a pale blue puff-sleeve dress? This Cecilie Bahnsen frock, worn by Nikki Creedon, is one for the wish-list.
