Real Skin Solutions and Biologique Recherche Ireland have a very welcome and thoughtful new programme that’s part of a global initiative: Wellness for Cancer is a global charity set up to improve the quality of life for people touched by cancer. The charity focuses on minimising the side effects of cancer therapy on skin and body, as well as increasing people’s mental wellbeing during that journey.

Every Friday, in their new location in Dublin 8, Real Skin Solutions offers complimentary tailored Biologique Recherche face and body treatments for people dealing with cancer, as well as those who have come through cancer. Cancer patients and survivors have unique needs and this compassionate initiative aims to offer comfort and care for those in need of specialised treatments. Therapists, led by Irish Biologique Recherche therapist Natalie Larkin, are specially trained to deliver personalised, sensitive care to those navigating the physical and emotional challenges of treatment and recovery.

“At Real Skin Solutions, we believe in the power of therapeutic touch and holistic wellness,” says Tonya Costello, Managing Director at Real Skin Solutions, the Irish distributors of Biologique Recherche. “Through this partnership, we are committed to providing safe, soothing and effective care to those in need of specialised treatments. We understand the unique needs of cancer patients and survivors and aim to offer an environment of healing, comfort and renewal so that they can find time to rest, relax and feel nurtured.”

The Wellness for Cancer programme offers treatments specifically designed to address and soothe the skin conditions that can arise from cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy or radiation, as well as offering some welcome rest and relaxation. Clients will receive personalised consultations and treatments using Biologique Recherche’s highly acclaimed and scientifically-driven skincare product line, Toleskin, known for its efficacy for sensitised skin and gentle, yet targeted, approach.

The 90-minute complimentary treatments, using the best of gentle therapeutic techniques, and designed by Wellness for Cancer, take place at the Real Skin Solutions Skin Hub, The Loom, at The Coombe in Dublin 8.
