Love them or loathe them, clogs are firmly back in favour with the fashion set …
In case you missed it: clogs are back. (For some of us, they never went away.) The resurgence is largely thanks to Chloé, where reigning queen of bohemia Chemena Kamali revived the classic platform clog. Popular in the 1970s, these were part of the French fashion house’s DNA, aptly revived when Chloé acolytes Sienna Miller, Georgia May Jagger and Clémence Poésy wore them on the front row at the brand’s AW24 fashion show, causing quite the stir. On the high street, Massimo Dutti has tapped the trend in a more novel way: with cow print. It takes the ugly shoe moniker up a notch – and we like it. (When it comes to man-repelling shoe trends, go big or go home, we say.) Shop an edit of the best clogs for SS25 below.
