10 Easy Spring Outfit Ideas For The Week Ahead

There’s a hint of spring in the air and these relaxed but polished looks are calling to us …

This look by Mother Denim, featuring a grey button up cardigan and biker jacket (read our guide on how to wear leather jackets this season here), is high on appeal right now. See H&M for a similar kind of cardigan – we have our eye on this style.

An excellent leather belt is shorthand for a relaxed kind of luxury (at the moment we’re eyeing up ones from Massimo Dutti and Isabel Marant in lieu of Khaite’s highly-coveted belts which cost upwards of €380). Pair it with a blue needle stripe shirt for a crisp look.

A two-piece in khaki is an easy nod to the season’s utilitarian mood. We love how it’s paired here with lace up suede boots for a casual look, but it equally would look great with sandals when the weather warms up.

The weather may be becoming more spring-like but that doesn’t mean it’s time to put away knits just yet. In fact, this time of year allows them to become the central focus – ditch the winter coat and just wear a spring knit, we say!

A hint of warmer weather means it’s time to raise your hemlines – a pair of jeans that flash some ankle are an excellent choice for now. This 90s-inspired shape, as seen at Sézane, feels fresh.

It’s about time for trench weather. Instead of pairing yours with jeans, why not go for belted white straight leg trousers, as per style influencer Vilma Bergenheim? It’s simple but chic.

Try a white blouse that plays with shape or volume. Even if you pair it with jeans and flats you’ll feel instantly done. Try brands like Ulla Johnson (get it at Havana) or new label at Arnotts Skall Studio for options.

Ballet flats and jeans, again? We say: if it ain’t broke, it’s certainly worth wearing again! Combine with a crossover knit for a balletic look.

Birkenstocks, socks and slouchy white jeans are an unbeatable combination, if you ask us.

Denim on denim is trending now. We love how this casual look gets a polished upgrade care of a pair of block heel boots.
