Your New Off Duty Wardrobe Updates

Style editor AISLINN COFFEY rounds up the new-in pieces your weekend wardrobe needs …

How to overcome the weekly “what to wear at the weekend” conundrum? Most Irish women spend their hard-earned cash on work, holiday and special occasion pieces. The temptation to slip on your old reliable throw-on-and-go jeans and a sweatshirt on a Saturday morning seems irresistible but is actually easily overcome.

The simplest, freshest take on weekend style this season is a linen shirt dress, anything white (particularly a LWD), a feather-light coat, statement (biggish not small) sunglasses and a luxe super-sized shopper. Keep it smart but casual with duster coats and sleeveless jackets (mid-thigh length), jumpsuit, tailored shorts and white denim should be part of your capsule wardrobe. Throw on a slouchy-fit cardigan and you’re good to go.
