The interesting top is your spring staple …
For SS22, blouses, shirts, lightweight knits and tops were anything but ordinary with the best featuring flattering, interesting necklines. Chanel showed us frilled Pierrot-style collars on silk georgette blouses. At Valentino, romantic Victorian-inspired necklines were proffered with equally beautiful sleeves and delicate ruffled trims, to wear under a chic blazer or tucked into jeans.
L-R: Jil Sander, Fendi, Givenchy
Jil Sander showed artful scarf collars in luxe neutrals paired with suits. We also spotted glamorous origami-like folded necklines in unexpected slinky fabrics at Fendi, for a night out on the town. As restrictions lift, so too do our sartorial spirits.
