Guests received a warm welcome walking into the Lyons Den from the stormy weather outside on Wednesday December 6 when they arrived to Cliff at Lyons for our festive experience. Once brought through to Shackleton’s Mill, guests were seated and offered mulled wine and canapés while Garry Cohn, Interior Designer at Cliff at Lyons, introduced them to the evening.
Throughout the event guests enjoyed a cookery masterclass from head chef Nathan Dimond who prepared canapés for Christmas and even gave guests some of his secret recipes. Lorcan Dunne of ABsolutely FABulous Flowers in Celbridge gave a floral wreath and centrepiece demonstration, he shared his tips on preparing the perfect festive floral creation. Somellier Giorgio Cortucci was on hand to share wine options for all occasions over Christmas and New Year, while Garry Cohn talked our guests through tablescaping ideas to suit every home. Finally, guests were treated to a mini-treatment in the new Well in the Garden spa, including their special peat foot masks and hand massages, before leaving with a fabulous glossy goodie bag.
