The flavour of the month? Mango, apparently. Mango butter, derived from the seed of the fruit, has long been used as a vitamin C-rich moisturising ingredient that’s easily absorbed by skin and lips – you’ll spot it in many lip balms. Mango makes a star appearance in perfumer Jo Malone’s Jo Loves fragrance, Mango Thai Lime, a juicy little number that’s just restrained from being overly sweet with the lovely zesty sharpness of lime leaf plus herbs like thyme and mint – it’s a brilliantly unisex scent with the sweet and the sour, and gets earthier the longer it’s on your skin.
