The Butlers Chocolate Café Tour: Plan Your Treats This Summer

Butlers Chocolate is with you every step of the way …

Passport: check! Luggage: check! Butlers coffee: check! The highlight of so many holidays is that first sip of Butlers coffee when you’re finally on the way to your destination. Whether you’re flying from Dublin airport, taking the train from Heuston Station to Cork, Galway or Limerick, or road tripping around Blackrock, Bray or Naas, Butlers Chocolate Cafés are there to make sure your trip starts off smoothly. Making the most of time with friends, family or four-legged friends in tow, few things bring people together quite like a stop-off at Butlers Chocolate Café, where the hardest decision of the day is choosing which complimentary chocolate to pick with your coffee …

HEUSTON STATION

All aboard? You’ve gathered your treats from Butlers and a glossy magazine from Easons, ready to settle into your journey. There’s nothing quite like train travel for a feeling of escapism and relaxation, minus any traffic or road rage! Sit back, relax and sip on a Butlers coffee as you while away a quiet few hours in peace. The kids can also enjoy an award- winning Butlers hot chocolate, made with their secret chocolate sauce recipe. The holiday starts now.

DUBLIN AIRPORT

Jetting off somewhere nice? If you’re like us, you’ll leave plenty of time for some pre-flight fuel once you make your way into Terminal 1 or 2. After picking up some last-minute beauty bits, our favourite airport pick- me-up has to be a trip to Butlers Chocolate Café. Sit back, relax and enjoy your coffee before setting off on your holidays. They also make the perfect gift, so we recommend buying a box (or several) of Butlers luxury chocolate assortments, chocolate bars or even some delicious hot chocolate at home, they’re guaranteed to bring joy to the lucky recipients.

BLACKROCK

We’re finally able to get out and about more as the weather warms up. Sea swimming, taking walks along the coast and planning coffee meet-ups with friends, kids and dogs in the sun! Any excuse to get outdoors. After a dip, we always make our way to Butlers Chocolate Café in Blackrock Shopping Centre to warm up or cool down – the seasonal menu features everything from a Vietnamese Latte to a Matcha Colada or Watermelon Lemonade. Let’s hope the sunshine sticks around.

BRAY

Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside! A visit to Bray might take you back to summers past when you’d spend hours at the amusements, followed by fish and chips or ice-cream. Now you might take the Dart to Greystones and follow the trail all the way back to Bray, where a reward of coffee and cake awaits you at Butlers’ outpost on the Main Street.

BLANCHARDSTOWN

For those of us who prefer to take a break by indulging in some retail therapy, start your day, take a break mid-shop or wrap up your shopping experience in Butlers Chocolate Café at Blanchardstown Centre – the ultimate meeting point to plan or review your purchases. As a special treat, you can even choose to take home a box of chocolate favourites from the loose chocolate display counter … you deserve it to refuel!

KILDARE VILLAGE

Or if you’re planning a day of shopping in Kildare Village, the Butlers Chocolates trailer is the perfect sweet spot to refuel. Choose from a range of hot and cold beverages, and of course, the house speciality, Butlers Hot Chocolate to sip as you shop.

GLASTHULE

The latest Butlers Chocolate Café recently opened in the stunning seaside neighbourhood of Glasthule. Enjoy a coffee and a sweet treat on the sunny outside terrace or pick up a little something to fuel your seaside walk.
