Dublin-based knitwear studio Sphere One knows the importance of a good blend. Designed by Lucy Downes, the brand imbues an Irish sensibility into the finest of international cashmeres. Each piece is hand-framed using luxurious five-ply Scottish cashmere, recycled Italian eco-cashmere and baby alpaca.

For autumn winter 21, a new collection titled ‘Upriver’ pays tribute to the river as the origin of creativity and inspiration. In this case, it’s the beginnings of the River Liffey, nestled in the mountains of Co Wicklow. The landscape is reflected in the bucolic names used in the collection which include Gorse, Bracken, Linden, Overhang, Deep Pool, Reed, and Wet Road.
