Yesterday AVOCA presented their new SS18 COLLECTION in the beautiful surroundings of The Fern House Café. It’s officially time to turn our attention to SPRING DRESSING …
For the launch of Avoca’s SS18 fashion collection at Avoca Kilmacanogue on Wednesday March 21, The Fern House Café was beautifully dressed with displays of wildflowers signalling the beginning of spring.
The SS18 collection features a mix of Irish and European brands including Samsøe & Samsøe, Scotch & Soda and Mads Norgaard as well as newly introduced brands such as French label La Fee Maraboutee and sustainable brand Thought. SS18 accessories include 100% silk Avoca scarves designed by Creative Director Ros Walshe, whose bright and colourful designs bring a burst of colour to spring wardrobes.
The launch also saw the unveiling of the new Avoca capsule collection, designed in-house by Liz Quin, available online and in all Avoca stores from today. The collection features colourful prints and smart tailoring in fabrics of cotton, linen and silk, with pieces to suit a number of styles. Style editor Aislinn Coffey was impressed by Quin’s first collection for the brand, in particular the silk tropical print midi skirt (above) and the botanical illustrated shirt dress, while a blue linen blazer also stood out.
