New Aisle Style: The Fashion Bride

Swap a stuffy venue for a magical bloom-filled tent, a four-layer sponge tower for the unconventional abstract-shaped cake (the latest trend), and one dress for three (ceremony, reception and afterparty)!

Influencer bride

Fashion’s favourite brides like influencer Chiara Ferragni and Zara heiress, Marta Ortega, are the benchmark of Instagrammable bridal style and contemporary elegance. Surprisingly, all of these picture-perfect brides shone in white frocks. Italian fashion it-girl Chiara Ferragni, aka The Blonde Salad, wore three custom Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior looks for her wedding to Italian rapper Federico Leonardo in Noto, Sicily.

Hair notes

Taking inspiration from somewhere between Maid Marian and the Pre-Raphaelites, plaiting around the hairline looks fresh and youthful.

The Place

Finnebrogue Woods, a lakeside venue (with a plentiful supply of trout) in Co Down, has four beautiful Nordic teepees that accommodate up to 160 people for dinner. It’s the perfect backdrop for a unique wedding. www.finnebroguewoods.com.
