As we’ve all started to embrace our autumn wardrobes, it’s time to incorporate some leather (vegan, faux or genuine), into your look. How to wear it? Coffee and toffee shades look great paired with tonal or neutral knits, silk and accessories. Black looks best teamed with black and winter white. Expect leather shirts, shackets, dresses, skirts and joggers. The high street, well-known for being great value, has an abundance of butter-soft trousers in every conceivable shape. The most flattering? Straight leg or cropped culottes. We’re loving Hush’s new leather collection (pictured above), the Riko culottes are flattering on all body shapes and are crafted from smooth leather with pressed pleats along the wide legs. Team yours with a cosy knit and loafers or a silk blouse and heels. Moto jackets are back but not as you know them. Think longer lengths (spotted at Bottega Veneta), puff sleeved (look at Simone Rocha) and fringed (at Burberry). While trends might come and go, investing in luxe leather goods is a good bet.
