Lou Doillon’s Celebration Collection For & Other Stories

1 MIN READ SAVE

Emulate LOU DOILLON‘s classic PARISIAN STYLE this party season …

Since & Other Stories opened on Grafton Street last year, it’s been our go-to shop for everything from clothing and accessories to beauty and skincare (their Paris Atelier natural beauty range is a must-try) and this month we’re getting ready for the party season with & Other Stories’ latest celebration collection inspired by French style icon Lou Doillon. With all the social occasions that December brings, thoughts are quickly turning to our party wardrobes and this collection is just the update we need. The Paris Atelier at & Other Stories has created a collection of reinvented classics all inspired by Lou Doillon’s effortless style. From straight leg leather trousers to velvet dresses and sheer blouses, there’s something to suit a range of styles.

The model, actress and musician (not to mention daughter of Jane Birken and director Jacques Doillon) is the ultimate French muse, known for her easy, effortless style. Speaking about the collection, Georgine Le Toqueux, designer at & Other Stories has said “I wanted to create a collection that captures the iconic sense of style associated with French women. For me, Lou Doillon is the ultimate French muse. All the pieces in this collection, from the rich velvet suit to the feminine dress, are designed with her in mind.”

Our top pick? The black velvet tailored blazer, below, €99. The wide lapels only add to its 70s-style charm. Pair it with the flared high-waisted velvet trousers and a red lip to make a scene-stealing entrance this Christmas.

The celebration collection 2017 is available in stores and online at www.stories.com now.
