Since 1976, L’Occitane has brought us the best in natural beauty while nurturing nature. It’s not just about buying an advent calendar, body cream or decorative festive treat this Christmas – every gift that you buy from L’Occitane supports the local farmers and producers in Provence, Corsica and Burkina Faso. From fun small treats, such as baubles full of fragrant hand creams, to lanterns hand-engraved by French porcelain specialists Maison Bernardaud, L’Occitane has a bright and brilliant selection of gifts, starting from under €10.
Below we share the L’Occitane beauty gifts we love, that are perfect to gift to friends and family (or yourself!) this Christmas:
It’s always hard to pick favourites, but having visited the L’Occitane HQ in the depths of Provence, I’m especially partial to the Almond collection; in the 1950s almond trees completely disappeared from the Provence landscape, and since 2000, L’Occitane has been working with producers to reintroduce almond trees back onto the hills. So a bauble containing Almond Shower Oil, Almond Milk Concentrate and Delicious Hands (€12) is definitely one for the stocking to remind you of sun-warmed days.
The Shea Butter limited editions are an annual highlight on the beauty calendar, and this year the Honey Harvest collection is utterly more-ish: try the delicious Hand Cream (€10.50) with 20 per cent shea butter and extracts of lavender honey produced by L’Occitane’s certified organic beekeepers.
Finally, skincare. Gift to self is the Immortelle Divine gift set (€189, worth €240). Divine Cream, Divine Eyes and Divine Extrait. Rich in sustainably produced Immortelle essential oil (an antioxidant that’s twice as potent as vitamin E), these luxurious velvety creams have a beautifully unique scent derived from the Corsica-grown Immortelle flower, and give your skin a year-round treat, especially in the winter when it can become drier.
