We all feel good after our first cup of coffee in the morning, but what if we told you that you could feel even better? Tomorrow, Tuesday May 14, Butlers Chocolate Cafés will be donating the profits from all hot drinks sold to regional homeless causes across Ireland.
The beneficiaries of Butlers Cup4 Day will be the Capuchin Day Centre in Dublin, run by Brother Kevin, Cork Penny Dinners and the Simon Community in both Limerick and Galway. Encouraging people to indulge in aid of a good cause on Tuesday May 14, Mairead Sorensen, Chairman of Butlers Chocolates, says enjoying a hot beverage will directly support local homelessness initiatives, “a warm drink is symbolic of welcome, of sharing and of making time for people. We hope our customers will be able to make the time to support Butlers Cup4 Day across our 23 Chocolate Cafés in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick.”
Brother Kevin of the Capuchin Day Centre in Dublin says the Butlers Chocolates’ Cup4 initiative is an important boost to the community’s efforts to help the marginalised in society. “We rely heavily on public donations and fundraising to support vulnerable people who still struggle to achieve a basic standard of living. Thank you to Butlers Chocolates and to everyone who supports the day.”
The Butlers Cup4 Day takes place all day on Tuesday May 14, in all 23 Butlers Chocolate Cafés nationwide. To find a Butlers Chocolate Café, visit www.butlerschocolates.com.
