Glossy Gift Ideas for Father’s Day

Don’t forget Dad next Sunday June 16, says PENNY McCORMICK …

Max Benjamim Car Fragrance

Max Benjamin has just launched its first foray into the car fragrance market. Designed as a mini vintage steering wheel which comes with a fragranced insert, the Car Fragrance is available in five different options and colours. The Blue Azure, Dodici, French Linen Water, Lemongrass & Ginger and White Pomegranate inserts clip easily onto the airvents on the dashboard of a car and are a nifty treat costing €10 for car fragrance (with refill) and €5 for individual refills available exclusively from Arnotts and online at www.maxbenjamin.ie.

For a little skincare treat to keep Dad’s skin young and replenished, try a Voya face wash. Made from organic Irish ingredients from the Wild Atlantic Way, it costs €27.50 at the Kilkenny Shop. www.kilkennyshop.com.

Staudt Praeludium Hand Wound Watch

Dutch watch maker Yvo Staudt visited Dublin recently to launch his Staudt Twenthe range of watches in Ireland. During his musical studies at the Conservatoire in Italy, Yvo made his first timepiece even though it was never his intention to start a watch brand. However, everything changed with his first watch, the Staudt Praeludium Hand Wound. The Dutch accordion player has now joined an elite band of European watchmakers. His range is available at ESL Jewellery on Chatham Street, Dublin 2. www.esljewellery.ie.
