Our Favourite Scandi Brand Just Launched a Size Inclusive Collection

The Ganni Love Drop collection, in partnership with size-inclusive e-tailer 11 Honoré, runs up to a size 24. 

The fashion world is far from perfect when it comes to inclusivity which is why we love to see more and more brands up their game with size-inclusive options. Step up, Ganni and its new venture, Love Drop.

In the works since earlier this year, Ganni has launched Love Drop; a capsule collection of ten pieces that go up to a size 24. It’s the first time the Copenhagen label has ventured into extended sizing (currently the brand’s mainline collection runs to a size 16.)

And, in good news, the collection will extend across ready-to-wear, swimwear and shoes. “Ganni is not about one look or uniform identity, it’s about confidence and kick-ass energy – and it’s my hope we can continue to share this spirit with more and more people,” says the brand’s creative director, Ditte Reffstrup. “Everyone is welcome.”

The collection, a collaboration with the size-inclusive e-tailer 11 Honoré, is not the first creative pairing for the brand of late. Earlier this year it teamed up with Levi’s for a collection of responsibly-made denim with a vintage feel. 

The pieces have all the hallmarks of Ganni dressing – covetable dresses, fun prints and offbeat tailoring. It’s got sustainable kudos, too. In true Ganni form, the collection is imbued with its signature earth-friendly ethos, using at least 50 per cent certified recycled or organic textiles – with pieces made using recycled polyester and nylon.
