Everyone’s Wearing: Denim Jumpsuits

We’re beginning to feel a chill in the air and so we’re TRANSITIONING OUR WARDROBES for autumn with the help of a hardworking DENIM JUMPSUIT

Tapping into the 1970s mood in fashion this season, the one piece of choice for those in the know is a denim jumpsuit. An easy throw on and go outfit, it can be worn both dressed up and down.

Net-a-porter’s fashion director Lisa Aiken (above) opts for a midwash denim with elasticated waist by Citizens of Humanity, though we love the darker shade of indigo jumpsuits appearing on the high street. Look to Topshop and Mango for affordable styles that are perfect as we move into the new season.

While wide leg styles generally call for ankle boots (try wearing white leather or animal print to hit two trends in one look) you can wear your jumpsuit now with flats or trainers and pair with boots when the weather gets cooler, also layering a roll neck underneath as seen on blogger Tiffany Hsu above. Opt for a style with a nipped in waist for the most flattering fit.

Get the look with four of our favourite styles below:

Indigo denim boiler suit, €80, Topshop

Cropped denim jumpsuit, J Brand, €363, www.net-a-porter.com
