Wool striped jumper, Collagerie x Jigsaw, €249, at Jigsaw

The tastemakers behind Collagerie, Lucinda Chambers and Serena Hood (both formerly of British Vogue) have collaborated with Jigsaw on a limited edition collection. Expect a combination of luxury fabrics with an offbeat sensibility, and a dash of maximalism, with highlights including pleated kilt skirts and dresses, shirts and jumpers with softly-sculpted shoulders as well as knits that play with high drama stripes (stripes are a hallmark of Chambers’ much-coveted sense of personal style). There is a select edit of the collection available at Jigsaw, South Anne Street, Dublin 2 (which includes the striped jumper, above); alternatively shop it at Jigsaw-online.com.

electronic sheep x Nuala O’Connor

The-Gloss-Magazine-best-fashion-collaborations-2022-4

We’re familiar with influencers collaborating with fashion brands, but what about authors? Raising the bar is Electronic Sheep; the Ireland-born Dalston-based knitwear specialists have embarked on a literary collaboration with novelist Nuala O’Connor. The merino wool scarf called ‘I Am Ireland’ features snippets from O’Connor’s book Nora, the novel dedicated to James Joyce’s wife and muse Nora Barnacle. It’s aptly timed as 2022 marks the centenary of the publication of Ulysses. €150; www.electronicsheep.com.

Camille x Mango

If anyone knows how to push the boundaries of what constitutes dressing up it’s Anglo-French style influencer Camille Charrière, whose latest collaboration with high street giant Mango is all about owning the night. Right on time for party season, expect slinky camisole slip dresses, decadent ankle-grazing faux fur coats and sheer, jewel-embellished gowns. Nodding to the noughties, there’s baguette-shaped shoulder bags, bandeau tops and vinyl wedge sandals too. However, it’s the sharp-shouldered wool overcoat that piques our interest.
