Boots Ireland is a one-stop shop for all our summer beauty needs …
As we start to venture out more, we’re looking for beauty products that ease us back into a social life, and that give us a boost, from skin to hair.
Boots Ireland has a fabulous array of make-up and skincare brands to help make this our brightest summer, from Fenty Skin and Drunk Elephant to Laura Mercier and MAC Cosmetics. Here are five beauty buys we’re making a beeline for now that we can get back into stores more easily (and are also available online at www.boots.ie) – Boots Ireland is a one-stop shop for all our summer beauty needs:
1 FOR MOISTURISING
If your skin is feeling dry, we recommend Clarins Extra-Firming Body Cream (€50), a luxurious velvety cream to firm and hydrate skin. We also love the generous 300ml pump bottle of Aveeno Daily Moisturising Creamy Oil (currently €5.99), a skin-softening formula with soothing colloidal oatmeal and nourishing sweet almond oil; and CeraVe Moisturising Cream (€16.99), a big pot that will keep you going all summer – you can use it on both face and body, and it’s rich in hyaluronic acid and ceramides to protect the skin barrier.
2 FOR A SUMMER GLOW
Boots Ireland has a wide range of great tan brands we trust, from Bondi Sands – we love their new range of pure especially the Bondi Sands Pure Self Tanning Sleep Mask 75ml (€18.99) – to Lusso Tan, whose Sunless Tanning Hand & Face Brush(€23.95) is a great investment (as is their Bath Bomb, which is a gentle and easy way to remove all traces of self-tan). For an Irish brand, go for Bellamianta, for a self-tan that’s as light or dark as you want to go.
3 FOR RADIANT SKIN
Include a serum in your skincare routine to ensure your skin is its healthiest-looking. We’re using the No7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum (€36), designed for ages 45+, as its Brightening Complex is designed to enhance radiance, while antioxidants such as mulberry and ginseng extracts help to protect skin. The No7 core serum range* features three clinically-proven serums designed for skin at different ages and stages, from softening fine lines and wrinkles from ages 30 and beyond, to enhancing radiance in more mature skin. And we’re maximising the results with an exciting new trio of skin boosters: No7 Advanced Ingredients. Use these in conjunction with your core serum. The four different formulas, in handy capsule format, focus on key active ingredients, from hyaluronic acid to squalane, an entirely plant-derived skin-strengthener. €26.50.
4 FOR HAIR
Lee Stafford Treatment masks masks are big hits in our house, where the teens have been hitting the home dye throughout lockdown – plenty of nourishing and hydration is definitely required. From salon quality bleach toning treatments to Argan oil deep nourishing mask and so many more great products to discover in their range. From €6.49 and currently on offer of 3 for 2. Exclusions apply cheapest item free. Offer end date is 29th June 2021.
5 FOR NAILS
Essie’s new vegan Treat Love & Colour formula launched last month, designed to help strengthen dry and brittle nails while making them look good. We love the summery peach and coral shades including this chic neutral, Final Stretch (€10.99).
*Boots No7 core serum range is available on Boots.ie, where you can now shop 3 for 2 on Core Serums*. Save 25 percent on No7 Advanced Ingredients when you buy selected No7.
*Exclusions apply and cheapest item free. Offer ends 2nd June 2021.
