Theatre Hopping: Three Shows That Are Not To Be Missed This Month

Plan a TRIP TO THE THEATRE and get lost in the beauty of DANCE and DRAMA at one of these Dublin shows …

This month we are theatre hopping, beginning with Let The Right One In at the Abbey Theatre (November 18 – January 6 2018). Described as a “supernatural thriller and coming-of-age love story” this production will feature an Irish cast directed by John Tiffany. Ballet Ireland’s production of Romeo and Juliet will be touring Ireland until December 23, including performances at the Gaeity Theatre this week, November 15 – 18. We’re wearing our best red shoes for the Gate Theatre’s production of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale (November 23 – January 27 2018). This contemporary re-telling of The Red Shoes has been adapted by Irish playwright Nancy Harris and is directed by Selina Cartmell, the Gate Theatre’s artistic director.
