Trust TOM FORD to produce the most delicious SCENTS OF SUMMER. This week we’re wearing …
We didn’t go to the Italian Riviera this summer – we went to Kerry in the rain – but here is compensation in a beauty bottle. Yes, there is such a thing as Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Body Oil, and it’s as glorious as a body oil can be. It’s a little herby, very citrussy and with a warm touch of amber, and it feels silky but light on the skin. Cary Grant would have worn this utterly Italian cologne scent, and so should you. It’s (just about) cheaper than a flight, and lasts far longer than a holiday. €56 at Debenhams.
We must also mention the Orchid Soleil Solid Perfume (limited edition, €155) as the most decadent alternative to an eau de parfum, as well as being easier to travel with. We love the old-school glamour of its pink-gold compact. Both of these offer different, and beautifully subtle, ways to wear fragrance.
