So Niche It’s Hard To Find

The NEW beauty BRANDS and PRODUCTS on our radar …

Beauty products are more widely available than ever now that websites like Cultbeauty and Beautymart deliver intriguing items from all over the world to our postbox, from Japanese skincare (we love Yu-Be) to Asian face masks. But there are still things we have to source further afield …

Glossier is the cult beauty brand launched in 2014 by Into the Gloss founder Emily Weiss. The products are currently only available in the US and Canada, (though there is a limited edition pop-up in Colette for anyone visiting Paris) but it has recently been confirmed that the company will be opening a location in the UK as early as next year. After hunting some down on a trip to New York last year, we’re hooked on the Balm Dot Com lip balm and will be asking friends/family/neighbours/anyone visiting the US to bring us some more, along with some Boy Brow too, please.

We wish we had Sephora for exclusive Sunday Riley skincare sets and Pat McGrath’s straight-from-the-catwalk-make-up (though some is now available on www.net-a-porter.com). We’re intrigued by Orveda, new skincare from the ex-head of Lancôme; find it at Harvey Nichols London, where bottles are hand-filled as you wait, or see www.harveynichols.com.
