As seen at Miu Miu, Céline and Chanel among others, the ballerina flat is back for SS17. This season ballet flats are anything but ordinary, ballerinas come complete with embroidery, ankle ties and v-cut detailing.
Next week LK Bennett will release a new collection of ballet flats in collaboration with Women for Women International, a charity which supports women living in countries affected by war and conflict, giving them access to education and an opportunity to develop skills which will help them to earn an income. The ballerina shoes included in their new collection have been hand-embroidered by a group of women in Kosovo. The Zoja ballerina comes in three colours, pink, navy and silver metallic, and all proceeds from sales will go to the Women for Women charity.
