The latest DESIGNER COLLABORATION with high street brand H&M will arrive in November …
Famed for his playful approach to fashion, Jeremy Scott, creative director of Moschino has designed a collection for high street brand H&M. Scott revealed the collaboration at Moschino’s annual Coachella party with the help of model Gigi Hadid, who wore pieces from the collection on the night.
Following on from the highly successful Erdem collaboration in 2017, H&M’s 16th designer collaboration will be with the Italian fashion house and will include womenswear, menswear and accessories.
With this collection Scott is keen to reach a wider range of customers who are interested in owning pieces from his Moschino collections but can’t afford the price tag that come with designer clothing and accessories. With these high-low collaborations customers can expect pieces that carry the signature style of the designer created on more affordable high street clothing, making it infinitely more achievable to own an item from your favourite designer.
Speaking about the collection Scott said, “Everything H&M does, it just aligns with me. I am ‘the people’s designer’, after all. That’s a title that’s been bestowed on me; I think because I believe in the democratisation of fashion, and I’ve found many different ways to reach people.”
“What I can promise is that, of course, there will be fun and colour and cartoons. Of course, we have to have cartoons!”.
Moschino [tv] H&M will go on sale in-stores and online at www.hm.com on November 8.
