Start your saving as GUCCI‘s first HOMEWARE COLLECTION launches this September …
Good news for Gucci fans! An interiors and homeware collection designed by Creative Director Alessandro Michele will be launched this September. The announcement came earlier this week as a selection of illustrations by artist Alex Merry were released on the brand’s Instagram account to give a first look at the new collection. As explained by the brand, “Gucci is pleased to announce the launch of Gucci Décor, an eclectic collection of items with which customers can dress their own spaces. The idea is not to prescribe a particular decorative look, but to provide elements that allow for living spaces to be customized.”
And eclectic is exactly what it is. With cushions, plates and more homewares adorned with birds, bees, flowers and snakes and, of course, the Bengal tiger, now synonymous with Alessandro Michele’s Gucci, the décor collection is closely tied to his recent fashion collections for the brand. The collection will also feature porcelain mugs complete with lids, scented candles and incense burners and larger pieces of furniture such as chairs, silk dressing screens and metal folding tables.
Gucci Décor will be available to purchase at select Gucci stores and online at www.gucci.com from September.
