Check-in to one of the hotel’s stylish newly-refurbished rooms before making your way to the nearby CHQ building across the Liffey, where you can board the dinky double decker before enjoying a tour of the city, accompanied by a vintage jazz soundtrack. Savoury goodies include Kelly’s of Newport lamb sausage roll, Andarl Farm pork pie with apple jelly, Burren Smoke House salmon, Dillisk cream cheese and pickled cucumber fingers, accompanied by a range of salads, slaws and sweet treats to follow. Crème brûlée, tiramisu espresso and Bea Tollman’s famous cheesecake are all in the hamper alongside homemade drinks served in vintage-style picnic bottles such as Alex’s Ginger Beer or Seb’s Iced Tea.
