Discover Reidin Beattie’s Natural Beauty Routine

The founder of WARRIOR BOTANICALS uses NATURAL PRODUCTS as well as her own creations …

“I aim to use things in their most natural form, with all active ingredients and no added preservatives. For moisturiser, I use coconut oil, shea butter or Dr Hauschka Quince Day Cream, just in the morning, never at night. For hair I follow the ‘no ’poo’ method, so I use a blend of red clay and herbs and baking soda once a week, with rosemary oil to condition and add shine. It’s easy to make – just use a spray bottle with a third apple cider vinegar mixed with water infused with essential oils like rosemary and chamomile. On holiday I wear an SPF by Green People for three to four days, and then switch to coconut oil or shea butter, which has a natural SPF of 10. I wear essential oils or floral waters as perfume, though I’ve just discovered Waters & Wild perfumes which are made locally in West Cork; Rose & Oud is lovely. I tried all the natural deodorants on the market but they didn’t work for me, which is why I developed my own with ingredients including clove and coconut. It’s absorbent and good for sensitive skin. I also use our pink clay mask and white clay cleanser, great for removing make-up and drawing out impurities.”
