CELEBRATE Irish architect and designer Eileen Gray’s legacy at the Lighthouse on Saturday, May 28. As well as a screening of Mary McGuckian’s The Price of Desire, which stars Orla Brady and explores how Gray’s contribution to 20th-century design was almost wiped out by the “Father of Modernism,” Le Corbusier, there will be a Q&A with McGuckian, costume designer Peter O’Brien and other Gray experts; a screening of the documentary Gray Matters and a selection of Eileen Gray furniture on display, courtesy of MINIMA.
