A highlight is “Beyond the Pale: The Art of Revolution” at Highlanes Gallery, Laurence Street (in particular, A Still from “Big Bang” by Ori Gersht, pictured). www.droghedaartsfestival.com

LOOK into the future at “2116: A Forecast of the Next Century”, at Cork’s Lewis Glucksman Gallery. On view are the works of 16 Irish artists who are presenting their vision for the year 2116. This piece, pictured, from The Centre for Genomic Gastronomy, explores impending threats to the food industry characterised by blights and crop failures. Until July 3. www.glucksman.org
