Try Trish Deseine’s Delicious Lamb & Aleppo Pepper Kofta

A ZINGY DISH for a MIDWEEK dinner …



Lamb & Aleppo pepper kofta with lime tahini yoghurt

For 4
5 minutes preparation
15 minutes cooking

300g minced lamb
2 slices stale bread made into breadcrumbs
1 red onion
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper (or chilli or smoked paprika)
Salt & pepper
Fresh mint, parsley & coriander
Olive oil

Pre heat the oven to 180c.

In a mini blender, blitz the onion, garlic, herbs (keep some for garnishing) and a tablespoon of olive oil together.

Mix into the lamb and then add the breadcrumbs and the chili pepper.

Season well and mix thoroughly.

Set some foil onto a baking sheet. Roll the lamb mixture into two bite balls and roast for 15/20 minutes.

Serve hot with tomatoes, cucumber and mint with some yoghurt flavoured with tahini and lime juice on the side.
