Visit Dublin’s Newest Interiors Store

APRIL AND THE BEAR‘s eclectic collection of HOMEWARE is just what you need to give your home a SPRING UPDATE

April and the Bear is the latest addition to the ever-trendy Cow’s Lane. Joining old glossy favourites like Scout, Tamp & Stitch and the Gutter Bookshop, the area is a hub for creative, independent shops.

The interiors and lifestyle store that opened last month is filled with eclectic homeware pieces that will lift the mood in any home. From sleek minimalist furniture to stand out lamps and mirrors, you won’t be able to leave this shop empty handed.

Since securing their permanent space in Cow’s Lane (April and the Bear was previously an online store only) they have been able to expand their offerings, introducing exclusive lighting brands Frama and Nook London, Danish lifestyle brand Bloomingville, a stunning collection of illustrated ceramic plates from Jimbobart and an exclusive collection of luxe wallpapers from Mind the Gap, a Transylvania design company.

Siobhan Lam, previously a fashion buyer at Arnotts, is the owner of April and the Bear and she carefully selects every product that comes into store: “This season I’m super excited about our new range of intensely beautiful wallpaper – Mind the Gap. All the wallpaper is designed and produced in Transylvania – the quality and the designs are absolutely breathtaking! I’m also all about the botanical trend this spring, from divine palm leaf print cushions to bold faux plants – it’s all about injecting some fresh greenery into your home.” No surprise there as ‘Greenery’ has been announced as Pantone’s 2017 colour of the year, we’ll be popping into April and the Bear for some on-trend interior updates …

For all your homeware and gifting needs visit April and the Bear at Cow’s Lane, Dublin 8.
