Steamed asparagus with Dunmanus cheese and hazelnut oil
For 2 / 10 minutes preparation
8/10 spears of fresh asparagus
100g Dunmanus cheese
Hazelnut oil (or walnut, or a good fragrant olive oil if you don’t have either)
Warm the serving plates ready for the hot asparagus.
Steam the spears until they are tender but still firm.
Plate up with very thin slivers of Dunmanus draped over and drizzle a few drops of oil.
Season with a little sea salt and a touch of pepper. Serve immediately with some good bread.
